About Me
With more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry and realizing that their strengths and weaknesses complemented each other well, in 2017 Alisa and Tanya formed The DeFalco/Romack Team. While Alisa is known for her creativity and enjoys networking and client care, Tanya thrives in organization and details, crunching numbers, and customer service. Being business partners has allowed them the opportunity to be more effective together than they were as individuals, operating in their strengths and bringing only their best to their clients – day in and day out.
As business grew and additional support was needed, Lacey joined the team. Her keen eye for detail and simultaneous ability to see the entire picture have made her an invaluable resource in taking loans from contract to close. She is known for her standard of excellence and prioritizing borrower needs in the process of every loan.
Though very different, each share a common passion for helping individuals achieve their dreams of homeownership. They are driven to assist borrowers in being well equipped with all necessary information to choose the best solution for their unique situation. Together they are committed to providing homeowners and home buyers in Washington state with the most current and ideal financial options available. Each operate from the core belief that YOU, the borrower, are the sole priority.

Frequently Asked Questions
The total number of properties you may look at will depend on several factors, such as your budget and the housing availability in your area. In general, real estate agents recommend that homebuyers look at several properties before making a decision, but there is not an exact number. Most people look at 10 homes, at a minimum, so they can compare them. However, you may find the dream house with more or fewer searches.
When it comes to the best home buying tips, there are different ways to search for properties. Statistics from the National Association of REALTORS® reveal that 51 percent of buyers searched and found their homes on the internet, while 30 percent used real estate agents. Other ways to search for homes include asking friends, relatives, neighbors and homebuilders for help. A small percentage of homebuyers used newspaper advertisements and yard or open house signs to search for homes.
Although a pre-approval is not one of the required steps to buying a house, it can certainly help you stand out in a competitive market with many buyers. A pre-approval can show sellers that you’re serious and capable of getting a mortgage, so they may be more likely to accept your offer.
