Carl has been in the lending industry since 1992. In 1994 he decided to become a Realtor but the lending industry drew him back in 1998 and has been originating loans ever since. His focus has been to work with the Real Estate community helping families achieve the American Dream…Home Ownership. He enjoys solving challenges; he especially enjoys helping his Client’s find the right type of financing that fits their financial goals and long term plans. Carl says the “Best” part of his job is being able to make that phone call and tell his Client’s that their loan has funded and that they are now homeowners.
Carl has been married to his wife Debbie for 32 years and enjoys Golfing, Fishing and walking on the beach with his wife. He says that he is the kid in the family.
Carl’s favorite part of the lending industry is closing loans
We really enjoyed working with American Capital Home Loans when we purchased our home they explained the loan process answered our questions and closed our loan on time. I’m glad our agent referred them to us.
Everyone at this Company is positive, up beat and truly care about the way their clients feel before, during and after the closing of their home loan. It is a rarity in today’s age of “fill out an application on line and we will let you know next week” mentality. Carl & John were fast friendly and they even got me better terms on my financing package than originally agreed upon. 🙂
We’ve enjoyed our relationship with the principals at American Capital Home Loans over the years. Anytime we’ve had any questions or needed to fund a transaction they are the go to guys in San Diego. American Capital Home Loans will work hard for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
The total number of properties you may look at will depend on several factors, such as your budget and the housing availability in your area. In general, real estate agents recommend that homebuyers look at several properties before making a decision, but there is not an exact number. Most people look at 10 homes, at a minimum, so they can compare them. However, you may find the dream house with more or fewer searches.
When it comes to the best home buying tips, there are different ways to search for properties. Statistics from the National Association of REALTORS® reveal that 51 percent of buyers searched and found their homes on the internet, while 30 percent used real estate agents. Other ways to search for homes include asking friends, relatives, neighbors and homebuilders for help. A small percentage of homebuyers used newspaper advertisements and yard or open house signs to search for homes.
Although a pre-approval is not one of the required steps to buying a house, it can certainly help you stand out in a competitive market with many buyers. A pre-approval can show sellers that you’re serious and capable of getting a mortgage, so they may be more likely to accept your offer.
