Graduating from The University of Arizona with a B.A. in Economics enables me to understand market trends and financial options to better serve my clients. 100% of my business is referrals so I will go above and beyond to meet your expectations and ensure that you are completely satisfied.

My objective is to provide the highest level of customer service possible and to be sure that my clients are in the mortgage program that best fits their needs and goals. I am up-front and honest and make the loan process as easy as I can. I am a licensed Loan Officer through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) and also by the State of Arizona. I have had extensive training on all mortgage programs and continue on a daily basis to stay informed and educated on the many changes that occur.

Helping people acquire the property of their dreams, whether it be for first time home buyers or seasoned investors is what I love about the mortgage industry. I am also actively involved at Paz de Cristo and United Food Bank and was a former officer in the East Valley Boys Service Club, which provides volunteer opportunities for boys from the 6th grade through 12th grade. Serving the community and giving back is very important to me. I have lived in the Tempe/Chandler area for 35 years. I am married and have 3 grown children. My hobbies include playing racquetball and hiking the Arizona landscape.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many properties should I look at?

The total number of properties you may look at will depend on several factors, such as your budget and the housing availability in your area. In general, real estate agents recommend that homebuyers look at several properties before making a decision, but there is not an exact number. Most people look at 10 homes, at a minimum, so they can compare them. However, you may find the dream house with more or fewer searches.

What is the best way to search for homes?

When it comes to the best home buying tips, there are different ways to search for properties. Statistics from the National Association of REALTORS® reveal that 51 percent of buyers searched and found their homes on the internet, while 30 percent used real estate agents. Other ways to search for homes include asking friends, relatives, neighbors and homebuilders for help. A small percentage of homebuyers used newspaper advertisements and yard or open house signs to search for homes.

Should I get pre-approval before making an offer?

Although a pre-approval is not one of the required steps to buying a house, it can certainly help you stand out in a competitive market with many buyers. A pre-approval can show sellers that you’re serious and capable of getting a mortgage, so they may be more likely to accept your offer.
