Hello! My name is Jessica Pearson, my friends call me Jess or Birdie! I am your hometown mortgage advisor with Parker Mortgage Team & Finance of America Mortgage. My goal is to educate and assist people as they make important financial decisions, like buying a new home or refinancing. In addition to being a mortgage advisor, I am also a yoga instructor, dog lover, farmers market goer, music junkie, avid reader, and lover of all things outdoors ( in nice weather of course!) !

Other ways to search for homes include asking friends, relatives, neighbors and homebuilders for help. Although a pre-approval is not one of the required steps to buying a house, it can certainly help you stand out in a competitive market with many buyers. A pre-approval can show sellers that you’re serious and capable of getting a mortgage, so they may be more likely to accept your offer.
