About Me
Although I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Las Vegas has been my home since I was 18. Having spent my entire adult life in the greater Las Vegas Valley, I truly feel like a part of this community and have a responsibility to contribute to it. In my role as a Mortgage Advisor I have the opportunity to help others achieve home ownership so they can find that same sense of community. It is truly rewarding to be a part of that process while providing the best customer service experience that I can offer.
Becoming a Mortgage Advisor was a decision that came later on my career path after I married into a family of real estate professionals. Being surrounded by Realtors and Mortgage Advisors for the last two decades truly inspired me. I am also very fortunate that throughout my life and other work experience I have learned skills that are vital for a true Mortgage Advisor – communication, attention to detail, precision and most importantly building lasting customer relationships. I am honored to be a part of the Sweeney Team which provided me the opportunity to be taught and mentored by Mike Sweeney and Jessica Brown, two of the most seasoned mortgage professionals in the industry.
My wife Joyce and I have 3 children; Elijah, 16, Juliette, 13, and Jocelyn, 11. In a nutshell, I am a husband and father first, dedicated employee second, and if there is time left in the day I enjoy working on my Corvette and playing with the tools in my garage. You can also find me with Lego’s or a Nintendo Switch. I am a huge fan of 100+ degree weather, driving too fast, and I was quite the boxer/kickboxer in my younger years.

Frequently Asked Questions
The total number of properties you may look at will depend on several factors, such as your budget and the housing availability in your area. In general, real estate agents recommend that homebuyers look at several properties before making a decision, but there is not an exact number. Most people look at 10 homes, at a minimum, so they can compare them. However, you may find the dream house with more or fewer searches.
When it comes to the best home buying tips, there are different ways to search for properties. Statistics from the National Association of REALTORS® reveal that 51 percent of buyers searched and found their homes on the internet, while 30 percent used real estate agents. Other ways to search for homes include asking friends, relatives, neighbors and homebuilders for help. A small percentage of homebuyers used newspaper advertisements and yard or open house signs to search for homes.
Although a pre-approval is not one of the required steps to buying a house, it can certainly help you stand out in a competitive market with many buyers. A pre-approval can show sellers that you’re serious and capable of getting a mortgage, so they may be more likely to accept your offer.
