About Me

After putting people into new homes by building them for 10 years, I hung up my hammer and began helping people achieve their dream of home ownership by assisting them in the mortgage process.  I have been a Mortgage Advisor for over 15 years.  It is my goal to create lasting relationships that extend far beyond the transaction.  I want to be sure that my clients feel comfortable knowing they can come to me with all their mortgage financing needs throughout their lifetime.  Finance of America offers a vast variety of mortgage needs that can fit any stage you are in your life.  Whether you are looking for your first home,  need cash out to make improvements on your current home, in need of construction financing to build your dream home, a line of credit to start real estate investing or even a reverse mortgage to help with your retirement goals.  I am here to make any real estate dream you have a reality.  I am also a firm believer in maintaining a referral based business.  Excellent customer service is my first priority with the hope that my clients will refer their family and friends to me so that they may receive the same quality based service.

Although I am not a native Californian, I have lived in the Central Valley for the past 22 years and have firmly planted my roots within this community.  I have coached Lodi High Baseball for the past 13 years and enjoy watching the kids grow in the sport as well as in their lives.  When it’s not baseball season you can find me in a duck blind, on a lake fishing or spending time with my wife and our two dogs.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many properties should I look at?

The total number of properties you may look at will depend on several factors, such as your budget and the housing availability in your area. In general, real estate agents recommend that homebuyers look at several properties before making a decision, but there is not an exact number. Most people look at 10 homes, at a minimum, so they can compare them. However, you may find the dream house with more or fewer searches.

What is the best way to search for homes?

When it comes to the best home buying tips, there are different ways to search for properties. Statistics from the National Association of REALTORS® reveal that 51 percent of buyers searched and found their homes on the internet, while 30 percent used real estate agents. Other ways to search for homes include asking friends, relatives, neighbors and homebuilders for help. A small percentage of homebuyers used newspaper advertisements and yard or open house signs to search for homes.

Should I get pre-approval before making an offer?

Although a pre-approval is not one of the required steps to buying a house, it can certainly help you stand out in a competitive market with many buyers. A pre-approval can show sellers that you’re serious and capable of getting a mortgage, so they may be more likely to accept your offer.
