About Me

I’ve always had a knack for numbers.  In 2002, I earned an MBA in Finance and later that year began my career working in the mortgage industry.  As I continued to gain experience in lending and real estate, it became apparent that my greatest satisfaction is helping people with what is usually the biggest investment of their life – their home purchase.

Obtaining a home loan is a detailed process.  I understand the need for a bit of hand-holding through this and it’s rewarding to be able to connect with people in this personal way. As a reliable and consistent advocate for my clients, I pride myself on clear and timely communication and educating homebuyers about their financing options vs. selling them on any one in particular.

My focus on building strong relationships also extends to business partners, including real estate agents, financial planners, CPA’s and my internal team of loan processors and underwriters.  Together we make the mortgage process as seamless as possible.  Finance of America offers competitive interest rates and a wide variety of loan products to suit any financing needs.

As a San Diego native, I have always appreciated the natural beauty of this area and what a privilege it is to live here.  I’m a passionate member of various local business networking organizations.

I love to travel internationally and enjoy San Diego’s stellar weather with family and friends.  Leisure time is spent at the beach, hiking, running, or taking walks with my spoiled Shih Tzu named Bella.

Statistics from the National Association of REALTORS® reveal that 51 percent of buyers searched and found their homes on the internet, while 30 percent used real estate agents. Other ways to search for homes include asking friends, relatives, neighbors and homebuilders for help. A small percentage of homebuyers used newspaper advertisements and yard or open house signs to search for homes.

Should I get pre-approval before making an offer?

Although a pre-approval is not one of the required steps to buying a house, it can certainly help you stand out in a competitive market with many buyers. A pre-approval can show sellers that you’re serious and capable of getting a mortgage, so they may be more likely to accept your offer.
