I was born and raised in a small town in Canada and started playing hockey at the age of 4. I signed my first professional hockey contract with the Dallas Stars in 1994 and played 16 professional seasons, finishing my career with the Idaho Steelheads. My wife and I moved to Boise in 2002 and we fell in love with the city and the people here. We decided that this was where we wanted to spend the rest of our lives and start a family and have two wonderful girls Brinley and Rylee. While playing hockey I owned and operated a landscaping business, which has been a successful career as well. In 2016, I decided I needed to find something that I was really passionate about. From the relationships I built through playing hockey and owning a landscaping business I thought a great avenue for me would be getting involved in the lending business.
I consider myself a very honest person who will work hard for you. I have an extremely hard work ethic and as an ex athlete I know what it takes to. The Boise community has embraced us and we feel so blessed to be Idahoans. Thank you Idaho and friends for your support and the opportunity to serve you!

Frequently Asked Questions
The total number of properties you may look at will depend on several factors, such as your budget and the housing availability in your area. In general, real estate agents recommend that homebuyers look at several properties before making a decision, but there is not an exact number. Most people look at 10 homes, at a minimum, so they can compare them. However, you may find the dream house with more or fewer searches.
When it comes to the best home buying tips, there are different ways to search for properties. Statistics from the National Association of REALTORS® reveal that 51 percent of buyers searched and found their homes on the internet, while 30 percent used real estate agents. Other ways to search for homes include asking friends, relatives, neighbors and homebuilders for help. A small percentage of homebuyers used newspaper advertisements and yard or open house signs to search for homes.
Although a pre-approval is not one of the required steps to buying a house, it can certainly help you stand out in a competitive market with many buyers. A pre-approval can show sellers that you’re serious and capable of getting a mortgage, so they may be more likely to accept your offer.
