About Me

Michael Adams, a specialist in reverse mortgages, at Absolute Mortgage, and has over 10 years’ experience doing reverse mortgages. Providing you with personal attention and the information you need to determine if a reverse mortgage is the right financial program for your unique situation. My specialty is helping older adults fully understand the reverse mortgage program and helping them determine if the program can be used to solve their financial problems. Michael’s wife is a care giver so through her encounters he is living through the issues and problems being faced
by our older homeowners.

I find customized solutions, based on the older adults’ unique circumstances, by providing life changing programs to seniors who are often struggling to make ends meet, are afraid they are going to run out of money or are disappointed that retirement is not as “golden” as they thought it would be.

My mission is very simple: create awareness and understanding among seniors and providers to seniors enabling the seniors to make the best-informed decision, in their best interests regarding reverse mortgages. It starts with education. Whether you move forward and refinance or purchase using an FHA government insured reverse mortgage, you can arrive at an informed decision
that is in your best interest.

We (my team and myself) would love to help you in arriving at the right decision for you, achieving financial independence, without pressure, but with integrity and respect.

Reverse with care, one step at a time.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many properties should I look at?

The total number of properties you may look at will depend on several factors, such as your budget and the housing availability in your area. In general, real estate agents recommend that homebuyers look at several properties before making a decision, but there is not an exact number. Most people look at 10 homes, at a minimum, so they can compare them. However, you may find the dream house with more or fewer searches.

What is the best way to search for homes?

When it comes to the best home buying tips, there are different ways to search for properties. Statistics from the National Association of REALTORS® reveal that 51 percent of buyers searched and found their homes on the internet, while 30 percent used real estate agents. Other ways to search for homes include asking friends, relatives, neighbors and homebuilders for help. A small percentage of homebuyers used newspaper advertisements and yard or open house signs to search for homes.

Should I get pre-approval before making an offer?

Although a pre-approval is not one of the required steps to buying a house, it can certainly help you stand out in a competitive market with many buyers. A pre-approval can show sellers that you’re serious and capable of getting a mortgage, so they may be more likely to accept your offer.
